I hope you had a lovely Christmas & Happy New Year!!!
After some time off over the festive season with parties, family gatherings and shenanigans. I did struggle to fit in my workouts and keep my nutrition on point.
But everyone deserves some time off over this beautiful season. So yes I did eat my full Christmas dinner and trimmings!
Compensated by taking long walks in the beautiful Somerset Countryside every day with family & friends, and not eating too much chocolate and bad snacks before the dinner itself! (Photos Courtesy of Nick Corkill)
I trained after Boxing day by running most days, alongside Tracy Anderson Mat Workouts, Pilates (with my dad!) and yoga.
My New Year Goal is to complete the Half Marathon in Bath this March, alongside reading motivational book Run fat bitch run! A funny and informative running book by Ruth Field which can seriously motivate anyone to get out and run, no matter what, I love it and recommend it to anyone, as long as you don’t get offended by the title!!
I’ll be running the Bath Half to raise over £1,000 for the amazing Charity TreeAid, which plants trees in Africa preventing the desert becoming any bigger. Giving Africans food and nutritional value from the trees to create their own business. The run is in memory of my strong and wonderful Mum, Jennifer who sadly passed away in 2009.
